71. Meer werk aan zitplaats en C-stijl ... (More on seat bottom and C-Post)

Het werk van vorige week was nog niet afgerond. Veel maatwerk aan zowel de bodem van de bestuurderszitplaats als aan de C-stijl rechts. Verder heb ik de A-stijl rechts vandaag vertind en ben ik erg lang bezig geweest met de onderkant van de C-stijl rechts (de verticale balk achter de twee transporter deuren). Het laatste onderdeel kostte veel tijd omdat het metaalwerk daar uit twee vrij complexe delen bestaat. Het vertinnen van de lasnaad onder aan de rechter A-stijl ging echter probleemloos. Het werk aan de bodem van de bestuurderszitplaats heeft Henk vandaag verder afgerond. Nu zit ook het schroefgat voor de veiligheidsgordels van de bestuurder weer op zijn plek. Er is nog veel te doen ...

The work that started last week wasn't finished yet. Lots of handwork for both the bottom of the drivers seat as for the right hand C-post bottom.
Furthermore I finished the welds on the right A-post with tin today and had a lot of work on the lower C-post on the right (The post behind the two transporter doors). The work on that part took a lot of time because it consists of two rather complex connected parts of steel. Henk did a lot more on finishing the bottom of the drivers seat. Today he managed to fit in the hole that holds the seat belt of the driver. There's still a lot of work to do ...
