After having skipped a weekend working on the bus we did some work again last Sunday. First day in daylight savings time so my mind had a little trouble adjusting for the new clock settings, especially after having a nights out with friends (and a couple of fine whiskies). We managed to be creative for some three hours today. I focused on surgical removal of the remains of the lower A-post on the right, while Henk prepared placement of the new lower B-post on the left, which included extra work on the left wheel well. No matter how I tried, after removing the remains I couldn't get the new lower A-post nicely fitted in position. When Henk finished work on the left side he took over and spent another twenty or so minutes on the culprit. The shape wasn't quite a match for the remaining post, but after a while we had a best fit. I took the welder and stitched the part in place quickly, while Henk held it in position. Finished welding a little later and before I knew ... three o'clock; time to finish for today.
